The EUDR is the EU Deforestation Regulation. Seven commodity groups and their derived products must be proven deforestation-free and legally produced — with plot-level geolocation — before entering the EU.

Products from plots deforested or degraded after this date may not enter the EU.
Large and medium operators must meet due diligence obligations.
Small and micro operators come into scope.
All three are mandatory — and each needs verifiable evidence
Goods and their raw materials must not originate from land deforested or degraded after 31 December 2020
Compliant with the country of origin's land use, environmental, labour and tax laws
Provide geolocation for all source plots and file a DDS to obtain a reference number
Covering raw materials and derived products such as leather, rubber goods, wooden furniture and chocolate
